PROJECTS

platform deck and concrete pad

This family in Nolensville designed a platform deck in Trex’s Enhance line of decking in Rocky Harbor to expand their outdoor hosting space. We were able to enclose the deck with a Deckorators cable railing in black and even added the concrete pad beside the deck for extra room.

Chippendale railing and gardening space

This Murfreesboro client wanted a beautiful platform deck enclosed with a trending chipppendale style railing. They chose a Deckorators voyage line composite board in tundra. Now that we’ve expanded the space, this family has more room for hosting and container gardening.

PORCH EXTENSION AND DECK

This 12×35 deck with covering and water proofing was built in Brentwood right before the cold hit. We continued the roofing to match the house and installed an overhead fan to allow for the best hosting space when the weather warms up. This is Trex enhance decking in beach dune with a saddle framing and a fortress iron railing.

PLATFORM DECK AND BENCH

This platform deck in Brentwood was designed with Timbertech Reserve’s composite deck boards in the Antique Leather color and features a Dark Roast trim around the edges.
We were also able to provide this homeowner with a matching bench. The deck came fully customized just in time for fall fires and watching the leaves change.

SCREENED PORCH AND STAIRS

This customer chose to screen in their deck to give them more time throughout the year to use the deck. They were able to keep the existing foundation and make improvements with Trex Transcend decking in the color “Havanna Gold.” We love the contrast here with the beautiful Trex Transcend Railing in “Vintage Lantern.”

A-FRAME COVERING

At Harpeth Decks, we aren’t just deck experts, we can help with coverings too. We offer a variety of different covering options. The one you see here is an A-frame covering with fan and can lights. This client in Franklin opted for a stained tongue-and-groove ceiling that complements their deck.

HOT TUB WITH A VIEW

In Brentwood, this client chose a Timbertech decking product in their Legacy Collection. This color is Pecan. It’s a beautiful color with a wonderful texture that’s perfect for bare feet just out of the hot tub! The customer chose to seal in those second story balconies with steel cable and iron posts. We love a build that really brings a space together and creates tons of room for hosting and lounging.

TWO STORY WITH CABLES

For this project we used Trex Decking in one of our crowd-favorites colors: Rocky Harbor. To protect the beauty of their lake view, the family also chose a cable railing.

INCREASED MARKET VALUE

Completed in June 2019, this family wanted to enhance the beauty of their property before putting this Franklin-home on the market. That’s why this family chose a stained, treated pine wood, as pictured here for their dream backyard. Because Harpeth Decks was able to come in and help their vision come to life, they were able to sell their home at an increased property value.

POOL DECK AND WRAP

Completed in July 2019, this family requested a full wrap-around deck be added to their above ground pool. The wood pictured here is treated pine which will last the family a long time as they enjoy their summers poolside in their dream backyard. In addition to the decking and railing, Harpeth Decks also provided the stairs and gate closures for this pool oasis. Finally, the Richie’s can lounge by the pool and keep all of their accessories close at hand!

COMMUNITY DOCK AND STAIRS

This deck was completed in August 2019, when a local Brentwood HOA wanted to add a small dock to the previously inaccessible pond. The dock itself is made with treated pine; however, Harpeth Decks also installed timber-chipped steps leading down to the dock for ease of access. Now the whole neighborhood gets to share in this community- dream backyard!

WATERPROOF AND COMPOSITE

Completed in September 2020, this family requested a full composite deck be put in to replace their old deck, which was rotting, unsafe, and a pain to maintain. The wear and tear of the previous deck was the exact reason this family chose composite deck boards and treated lumber for the joists, as well as reinforcing the joists with joist-tape. The composite pictured here is Fiberon in the color Coastal Cedar and the railing is Fiberon ArmorGuard in white. As a result, their dream backyard is now safe, firm and ready for hosting! An added bonus is the protected bottom level which can host more patio furniture, and room for play.
